Just Hanging-Out
 
I photographed the above two Meerkats at the Houston Zoo in 2011. Meerkats always make great photographic subjects because of their curiosity and quirky behavior. Fortunately, you can get very close to the action at the Meerkat exhibit in the Houston Zoo. So, a telephoto lens is not required for close encounter images.
